Dons heading back to Dublin

19 June 2015

MK Dons will be returning to the Republic of Ireland for a pre-season trip next month.

Karl Robinson’s squad will initially gather at stadiummk on Friday 26th June to undergo a number of fitness tests before three days of training the following week.

They will then head out to Dublin on Friday 3rd July to begin their seven-day training camp, where they will be put through their paces by Head of Sports Science, Fitness and Conditioning Damien Doyle.

Each day will include three-sessions designed to improve the players’ fitness with work on the beach, football-based sessions on the pitch and further strength and conditioning work in the gym.

Following the training camp, the Dons will play three pre-season matches across three days from Monday 13th July through to Wednesday 15th July.

Once the trio of games have been agreed and confirmed, the details will be released on mkdons.com.
