Friday’s lunchtime session at the A.U.L Complex brought an end to the Dons’ seven-day training camp in Dublin.
Karl Robinson’s side have trained six of the last seven days as they look to get set for their inaugural campaign in the Sky Bet Championship. Most days consisted of three sessions – one on the beach, one on the grass and one in the gym.
The Dons squad will have this weekend to rest and recover before they begin their pre-season game schedule on Monday evening at St. James’s Gate.
Robinson’s men will then travel to Limerick and Cabinteely on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively, before returning home for their UK-based friendlies.
