The Dons face both Newport Pagnell Town and Buckingham Athletic on Saturday – their first two friendlies on home soil in 2015/16.
Karl Robinson’s side returned from Dublin on Thursday after completing their seven-day pre-season training camp and their three-game schedule against Irish opposition.
The men from MK1 made it through the three matches undefeated and, more importantly, without any injuries – all members of the squad featured during the week, except Mark Randall who has been rehabbing a pelvic injury all summer.
This weekend will provide Robinson with a chance to give more valuable minutes to his group. His squad will split into two groups, with the first taking on Newport Pagnell at 1pm and the second travelling to Buckingham for 5pm.
Each player is expected to feature for 75 minutes before being replaced by Mike Dove’s Under-18s squad, who will travel to both games.
