mkdons.com takes a look at the career of new midfielder Sergio Aguza, who has moved to stadiummk on a two-year deal from Real Madrid Castilla.
He made his debut for Los Blancos during the 2011/12 campaign, playing for the C Team in the Spanish fourth division. The following season, he made 19 appearances for the same outfit in the third tier and scored two goals.
In July 2013, Aguza was promoted to the Madrid reserve side, which at the time were competing in the Segunda Division – the league below La Liga.
He featured 23 times in his first season with Castilla, netting twice and providing three assists. His first goal of the campaign came in 3-1 victory over Barcelona B – a powerful diving header from eight yards.
Aguza began the following season by scoring three goals in his first five games for Castilla. He also earned himself a place on the first-team’s bench for a La Liga fixture against Villarreal.
In total, he made 23 appearances during the 2014/15 campaign, finishing with five goals to his name.
