Harry’s City hit Farnborough for six

5 January 2015

Harry Hickford made his fourth straight start for Chelmsford City in their 6-2 victory over Farnborough on Saturday afternoon.

The 18-year-old defender played the full 90 minutes at centre-back, as the Essex outfit kept the pressure on the top five with another high-scoring win.

Hickford has now won three of the four games he has featured in since re-joining the club he also spent time with during the latter part of the 2013/14 season.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Charlie Burns couldn’t prevent Truro City’s unbeaten home run coming to an end against Chesham United.

Burns was making his tenth appearance for the White Tigers but couldn’t cap the milestone with a victory – instead, the Cornwall side slip fifth and are now five points adrift of leaders Corby Town.

*Striker Tom Hitchcock has returned to the Dons following his loan at Fleetwood Town. The 22-year-old scored one goal in five starts for the Cod Army.
