Tom Flanagan has joined Sky Bet League 2 side Plymouth Argyle on loan.
The centre-back will remain with the Pilgrims up to and including Tuesday 10th February, the same day they take on Wycombe Wanderers.
Flanagan could make his debut for the Home Park outfit at Southend United on Saturday.
The 23-year-old has appeared nine times for the Dons this season, helping the men from MK1 to wins over Yeovil Town, Fleetwood Town, Port Vale, Colchester United and Sheffield United in the process.
Karl Robinson told mkdons.com: “Tom’s been great and deserves an opportunity to go and play regular football.
“As we saw the other day, it’s hard for players who have had limited game time to immediately step in and therefore this move allows him to be 100% ready for when he’s required.”
