Striker Jonson Clarke-Harris says it was an easy decision to join the Dons on loan from parent club Rotherham United.
“It was an easy decision for me and I’m definitely pleased to be here,” the 20-year-old told Dons Player.
“You can’t turn down a club like this, with a massive stadium, good fans, a great manager and the style of play that they have here. The amount of goals and chances they create, it’s just something I want to be involved in.
Clarke-Harris, who became the Millers’ record capture this past summer when signed from Oldham Athletic, is eligible to make his Dons debut in Saturday’s clash with Sheffield United and if the forward does get a chance, he is eager to get on the scoresheet – just as he did the last time he faced the Blades.
“I didn’t get to train (on Friday) with the boys so I’ll just have to see what happens, but I’m ready.
“I scored against Sheffield United last time I played them so if I do get a chance then hopefully I can do the same again.”
And for those who haven’t had the opportunity to see him play, Clarke-Harris had a brief message: “I’m strong, aggressive and a goalscorer – a fast runner as well. When it’s time to play, I hope to deliver.”
Clarke-Harris could make his debut this afternoon when the Dons host Sheffield United at stadiummk, where tickets are priced at £20 for adults, £15 for seniors and £6 for under-18s - under-12s go FREE with a Young Dons membership.
