Karl Robinson will remain in the stands for the first half of matches – this time by his own choice!
Although the suspension is now complete, Robinson won’t be seen in the dug-out this evening until the second half.
“I’ve been able to use these four games as a learning curve,” he told mkdons.com. “I’ve realised I can be more of a help to the group in the first half by sitting in the stands where I get a better view of the game, before coming down in the second half.
“I’ve worked with managers in the past such as Sam Allardyce and Paul Ince, who have operated the same way. I used to wonder why they’d do that but now I realise the positive impact it can have.
“Richie Barker and my staff on the touchline know what they’re doing and I trust them immensely. I’m also in constant and immediate contact with the bench.”
Tickets for tonight's clash with Bradford City are available to buy on the gate at Valley Parade, priced at £20 for adults, £14 for over-65s and students, £12 for U16s and £5 for U11s.
