Karl Robinson isn’t usually one to single players out for praise but the Dons boss has made an exception for midfielder Darren Potter.
“I don’t like singling one or two people out but I think Darren deserves it at the moment because he has been outstanding,” Robinson told the media.
“To play second fiddle all season to Dele, which he’s let happen, and to Samir from the weekend, shows you the type of man he is and why he’s so important.
“If anybody deserves to be successful or get a medal then he’ll be one who can certainly sit there in the summer and say that he does.”
Robinson’s men, including Potter, will be in action on Saturday when they travel to Coventry City – tickets for the match are priced at £22 for adults, £15 for seniors, £15 for U21s and £11 for U16s.
