January Transfer Window round-up

3 February 2015

The January Transfer Window drew to a close late on Monday night with the Dons at the forefront of the national media.

Young starlet Dele Alli was the name on everybody’s lips heading into Deadline Day and with just hours before 11pm, he completed a move to Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur for an undisclosed club-record fee.

The 18-year-old, however, will remain with the Dons until the end of the season, after sealing a loan switch back to stadiummk once his transfer to White Hart Lane was finalised.

One player Alli could be playing alongside between now and May is fellow midfielder Keith Andrews, who re-joined the Club he used to captain on Deadline Day – the Irishman has also signed on loan until the end of the 2014/15 campaign.

Andrews made 87 appearances for the Dons between 2006 and 2008, helping the side win the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy and the League 2 title in his final season in Milton Keynes. He returns to stadiummk both as a player and a support to boss Karl Robinson, whom he worked with during that 2007/08 campaign and at Blackburn Rovers.
