MK Dons and Peterborough United played out a 0-0 draw in a behind-closed-doors friendly at stadiummk on Monday lunchtime.
And it was 18-year-old Giorgio Rasulo who came the closest to opening the scoring in the first half but his deflected shot was magnificently saved by Dion-Curtis Henry.
In the second half, Tom Flanagan headed off target and Green forced a smart stop from Henry, who again denied Rasulo late on after a wonderful one-two with Kabongo Tshimanga.
Keith Andrews, who took the Dons side, said: “From the youngest to oldest one out there, everyone’s attitude was impeccable.
“People know the style at MK Dons and we played some good football - we did everything but put the ball in the back of the net.”
MK Dons: Burns; Hodson, Flanagan, Hickford, Tilney; Hadden (Tingey 60), Wiltshire (Weston 75); Green, Hitchcock, Rasulo; Tshimanga (Vaughan 85).
