Samir confident results will come

15 December 2015

Samir Carruthers says it’s time the Dons start picking up results but is confident they can do so if they consistently replicate Saturday’s performance against Ipswich Town.

Carruthers and co dominated the Tractor Boys during this past weekend’s clash at stadiummk and they’ll be hoping to build on that display tonight when they take on Sheffield Wednesday – kick-off 7.45pm.

"We had a lot to prove (on Saturday) and the performance, I felt, was good," Carruthers told MK Dons PlayerHD.

"The Ipswich game proved that we’re certainly good enough to be here. We’ve got to start getting the results, though - it’s all good talking the talk, you’ve got to walk the walk."

"We’ve got to move on and take the performance into Tuesday’s game and hopefully get a result against Sheffield Wednesday."

Read more from Carruthers in tonight’s edition of red dot, which will be available for £3 from sellers around stadiummk and the Box Office ahead of kick-off.

As well as discussing this evening’s encounter, the 22-year-old also talks about how much he’s enjoying the challenge of Championship football and also reveals what his preferred position is.
