Karl: Dons motivated by support

10 December 2015

Karl Robinson says the recent support from the stands has inspired his players ahead of Saturday’s clash with Ipswich Town.

The Dons take on Tractor Boys at stadiummk this weekend, looking to bounce back after a disappointing result away at Brentford - kick-off is at 12.30pm.

Despite the loss at Griffin Park, the travelling fans applauded the players as they made their way off the pitch and Robinson believes that has motivated the entire squad this week.

“I went in that dressing room so motivated to turn it around for them and the players equally mentioned that,” said Robinson. “We walked off that pitch at a lower point than they’ve ever been but the fans were still singing our names.”

He continued: “The way the players have responded and gone about their business this week is a testament to them. Their mentality has been magnificent and they are working extremely hard to get it right.

“But we can sit and say we are going to this and that -  I don’t want the players to tell me they are ready to respond I want them to show me and they’ve shown me this week that they want it.”

Tickets for Saturday's clash with Ipswich are priced from £25 adults and £6 under-18s, while under-12s go FREE with a Young Dons membership - what's more groups of 20 more can buy tickets at a discounted rate of just £12 adults and £1 under-18s as part of Group Tickets Reward Big Day!
