Boss honest in Brenftord assessment

7 December 2015

Karl Robinson was brutally honest in his assessment of Saturday’s display at Griffin Park.

The Dons were second best for the majority of their Sky Bet Championship clash with Brentford and, as a result, slipped to their first defeat in three games.

“That was not a good performance – it was poor,” Robinson told MK Dons PlayerHD. “I thought for 20 minutes we were the better team and their goal came against the run of play but from there it was pure domination from them.

“It was as bad as it gets, I think. We all have them days, I suppose, but it needs to change because we’ll get relegated if we keep performing like that.”

“We were second best. We looked disjointed and we looked like we had no energy. We didn’t play and we didn’t pass with any purpose. All the coaching components we talk about on a daily basis didn’t materialise

Robinson's Dons will look to bounce back on Saturday when they face Ipswich Town in a lunchtime Sky Bet Championship clash at stadiummk- tickets are priced from £25 adults, £6 under-18s while under-12s can go FREE with a Young Dons membership.
