Kabongo Tshimanga netted a nine-minute hat-trick on Tuesday to secure a point for his loan club Corby Town.
Tshimanga then completed his first ever senior treble with a close-range in the 55th minute, capping off a magnificent display which earned his side, who went 2-0 down early on, an important home point.
Tuesday’s display came just a few days after he made his full debut for Corby in their National League North draw with Chorley.
The 18-year-old played 68 minutes in the clash at Steel Park and made his impact, providing an assist for team-mate Ashley Sammons to score the team’s first goal of the afternoon – Tshimanga held off his marker before teeing up Sammons to fire home from 18-yards.
Elsewhere, George Baldock has remained ever-present at right-back for Oxford United, helping the U’s to four points from their last two Sky Bet League 2 games.
The 22-year-old played the full 90 minutes in both the 2-2 draw with Luton Town and Tuesday night’s impressive 3-1 victory over Notts County.
Striker Tom Hitchcock has also been involved in League 2 action having returned to the Stevenage side following a one-match suspension.
He made his comeback from the bench during Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Newport County and also featured as a substitute in Tuesday’s trip to Leyton Orient.
