Reeves ready for PNE reunion

14 August 2015

Ben Reeves is expecting a fiercely-contested clash at stadiummk on Saturday, when the men from MK1 take on their promotion-rivals from last season Preston North End.

Reeves was part of the Dons side that pipped Simon Grayson’s men to second place in League 1 in 2014/15 and automatically booked their place in Sky Bet Championship – the Lilywhites were forced to go through the play-offs to secure promotion.

“Given how close it was between us to go up last season, both teams will want to prove a point on Saturday so I’m sure it will be a good game,” Reeves exclusively told this weekend’s edition of red dot.

“They like to make it difficult for teams to score but hopefully we can break them down. When they last came here it was cagey and they got the upper hand in the second half but hopefully, this year, we can start off well and get the upper hand early doors.”

You can read the full interview with Reeves in Saturday’s edition of red dot, which will be available to buy from sellers around the ground and the Box Office for £3. The midfielder discusses his new contract extension, the upcoming season and his international ambitions with Northern Ireland.
