Harry Hickford has joined Skrill South side Chelmsford City on a two-month loan deal.
The centre-back, who signed a two-year contract in the summer, could feature in their opening-day clash at Oxford City on Saturday.
Academy product Hickford will be looking to catch the eye once again for the Clarets after an impressive spell at the Melbourne Stadium last season.
The deal includes a 24-hour recall clause after an initial 28 days.
