Cody Cropper has been named in the USA Under-23 squad for their 2015 CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Tournament preparation camp.
The camp, which takes place in Manchester, will see the Americans play two friendlies against England Under-21s on Thursday 3rd September and Qatar on Tuesday 8th September.
The friendly with England will be held at Preston North End’s Deepdale Stadium while the fixture against Qatar is being played at Gigg Lane, home of Bury.
Goalkeeper Cropper has 10 caps to his name so far, five of which have come at Under-23 level.
He is the fourth Dons player to receive international recognition this week along with Simon Church (Wales), Lee Hodson (Northern Ireland) and Ben Reeves (Northern Ireland).
Joe Walsh also received a call-up to Wales’ provisional squad but was forced to withdraw due to injury.
