Aiden's day with his beloved Dons

21 August 2015

The Dons had a special visitor at training on Thursday ahead of their Sky Bet Championship clash with Reading at the weekend.

Seven-year-old Aiden Selleck, who is battling cancer, met the squad before accepting an invitation to take part in a warm-up with the goalkeepers, which included a penalty shoot-out against No.1 David Martin!

Both Aiden and his brother Logan were also presented with shirts by manager Karl Robinson, who then invited the pair to be mascots and their family to be guests at a home game.

The brothers were quick to say ‘yes’ and they will walk out with their beloved Dons prior to a fixture of their choice while Carl Baker has also promised Aiden, who sits in the Cowshed, a pair of his boots.

Aiden is due to have a second operation next Friday at Great Ormond Street Hospital - everyone at the Club would like to wish this brave boy all the best!
