Kay keen for Scunny success

7 April 2015

Antony Kay wants the Dons to maintain their momentum with a victory over Scunthorpe United at stadiummk this evening.

Karl Robinson’s side face the Iron tonight in search of their fourth-straight triumph in Sky Bet League 1 – a result which would see them re-close the gap on second-placed Preston North End to five points.

The men from MK1 extended their winning run to three games on Easter Saturday, with a highly impressive 3-0 success over promotion rivals Swindon Town at the County Ground.

“We just need to keep the momentum going and try and win every game,” defender Kay told MK Dons Player after the win at Swindon.

“We’ve got Saturday-Tuesday for the next few weeks and because we’ve got good momentum now, it’s played into our hands - we just need to keep playing as we are.”

He continued: “When you’ve been involved in football for so long you know never to count yourselves out until it’s mathematically impossible. We’ve got seven games left and we’re going to carry on trying until the end - I’m sure it’s going to be an enjoyable end to the season.”

Tickets for tonight's clash with Scunthorpe United at stadiummk will be available to buy right up until kick-off, priced from £20 for adults, £15 for seniors and £6 for U18s, while U12s can go for FREE with a Young Dons membership.
