Karl calls for one last push

24 April 2015

Karl Robinson has called for ‘one last push’ from his players as they prepare to head into the final eight days of their 2014/15 campaign.

The Dons travel to Rochdale on Saturday knowing that if they can better Preston North End’s result against Swindon Town they will move into the automatic promotion places heading into the final day.

"One last push,” Robinson told MK Dons Player. “We’re going into these two games with exactly the same mentality as we have had for all of them – full of determination and willing to give every ounce of energy we have.

“We’ve conducted ourselves wonderfully well all season and the players have been nothing short of incredible so it would be a shame if we did anything untoward now.

“We’re writing paragraphs on a daily basis, different chapters every month and there’s only one more page left to be turned. We don’t know what will be on there but let’s hope it’s full of everything we’ve dreamed about.”

He continued: “It’ll be difficult not to (keep an eye on the Preston score).  I won’t be looking at my phone but I’m sure somebody will tell me!”

“It’s important we just focus on what we do from now until the end of the season and we’ll do that with class and dignity - the way we’ve done it all season.”

Tickets for Saturday’s clash with Rochdale will be available to buy at Spotland, priced from £20 for adults, £14 for over-65s and under-21s and £5 for under-16s.
