21 April 2015

stadiummk will truly rock on tonight as the Dons will be paying its annual tribute to the late Jim Marshall.

During the big match’s build-up and through the half-time break, Dons and Doncaster Rovers fans will be treated to a special Marshall mix of songs.

The stadium’s big screens will show videos featuring just a few of the many bands and artists who have and continue to use the famous Marshall sound.

During the half time break, the talented musician Steve Winch will also be performing live from the upper tier.

Since releasing his debut solo album in 2011, Bletchley born and bred singer songwriter has been entertaining audiences around the globe with his unique brand of acoustic music. Now, having just released his third studio album ‘Songs From The Killing Floor ‘: Volume Three, Steve is thrilled to have the opportunity to play before such a special home crowd on such a special day. You can check him out at www.stevewinch.co.uk.

Marshall Amplification was, of course, the first ever official Dons shirt sponsor - Jim and the company backing the Club when it needed it most. A point never forgotten by the Club or fans, hence tonight’s tribute.
