Dele Alli’s stunning strike at Fleetwood Town was the 100th goal scored by the Dons in all competitions this season.
Striker Will Grigg took his tally for the season to 20 with his finish in Tuesday’s triumph at Highbury Stadium, becoming the first Dons player to reach that mark since Izale McLeod back in 2006/07.
It’s not just up-front where the men from MK1 have impressed - they have also kept 23 clean-sheets which ties their previous record for a season, set back in the double-winning campaign of 2007/08.
The goals and the shut-outs have led the Robinson’s side to a points total of 79, which is the most they’ve ever had after 42 games in League 1 and greater than their entire total in four of the last five seasons.
The Dons are back in action on Saturday when they face Leyton Orient at stadiummk - tickets are priced from just £20 adults and £6 for under-18s while under-12s can go FREE with a Young Dons membership.
