Striker Will Grigg was part of the Northern Ireland squad which got their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign off to a winning start in Hungary on Sunday evening.

Michael O’Neill’s side, who were without an away victory in four years heading into the game, carved out the three points thanks to two late goals from Niall McGinn and Kyle Lafferty, after Tamas Priskin had put the hosts ahead.

Grigg was an unused substitute in the game and will therefore have to wait to add to his five international caps. Northern Ireland’s next qualifiers take place in October, when they face Faroe Islands and Greece.

Midfielder Ben Reeves, who was also named in the Northern Ireland squad for the fixture was forced to pull out last week due to a hamstring problem. Right-back Lee Hodson was also unavailable due to an ankle injury.
