Will Summerfield has joined Southern Football League Division One Central side Bedford Town on an initial one-month loan deal.
The midfielder could make up to five appearances during his stay with The Eagles, starting with Saturday’s Red Insure Cup tie with Leighton Town at The Eyrie.
Summerfield signed professional terms with the Dons in the summer after impressing as an apprentice.
Like his fellow first-year professional Harry Hickford, who is also out on loan at Cambridge City with Charlie Burns, he is yet to make a senior appearance for the Club but has been named as a substitute on two occasions.
