Dele Alli has been named in the Football League Team of the Week for his stunning display in Saturday's 6-1 win over Crewe Alexandra.
The teenage sensation scored a hat-trick and laid on a sublime assist for team-mate Benik Afobe, prompting Karl Robinson to describe the midfielder's performance as one of the best he's seen in a Dons shirt.
“He plays football like he does on a school playground and I've gone past words now for him,” said the Dons boss.
“I just think he gets better and better and he does all his talking with the football.
“I just have to support him and keep him happy. The fans have a local hero to be proud of.”
Alli added: “It’s nice to get the goals but more importantly we won the game. It wouldn't be the same if I scored those goals and we didn't win.”
