Fans turn out for Aylesbury forum

24 October 2014

A number of people turned out on Thursday to take part in a Dons football forum at Aylesbury FC, as part of the upcoming Aylesbury Big Day on Saturday 1st November.

MK Dons manager Karl Robinson, Executive Director Andrew Cullen and goalkeeper David Martin were joined on the panel by Aylesbury FC manager Steve Bateman and Chairman Danny Martone.

Both teams' respective good starts to the season were discussed, along with plans for improvements to both stadiummk and Aylesbury FC’s Haywood Way.

Martin was asked about his role in the 4-0 victory over Manchester United in the Capital One Cup earlier in the season, while Robinson discussed the promotion hopes for his side. Andrew Cullen also explained the Club's role within the staging of Rugby World Cup 2015 pool matches.

Aylesbury FC youngsters were also treated to a coaching session by Assistant Manager Richie Barker prior to the forum, while over 60 local children took part in a football roadshow with Martin and his Dons team-mates Charlie Burns, Harry Hickford and Jordan Spence, who signed autographs and joined in with skills sessions at Aylesbury Grammar School.

Tickets are still on sale for the Aylesbury Big Day, which takes place when the Dons host Swindon Town on 1st November, priced at £10 for adults and £3 for under-18s for those with postcodes beginning with HP18, HP19, HP20, HP21, HP22 and HP23 as part of the Aylesbury Big Day. Coach travel is also available for £5 return with a number of different pick up points in the town.
