Remaining RWC2015 tickets on sale

28 November 2014

The remaining tickets from the September general sale for Rugby World Cup 2015 are on sale to unsuccessful fans who applied for tickets via the ballot.

Tickets are unavailable through MK Dons directly, instead the general public can purchase them at tickets.rugbyworldcup.com.

Following the strong demand for tickets in September, with over 950,000 sold through the general sale, 150,000 tickets have sold in just four days through the priority sales window.

Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis and fans will be able to utilise real time demand indicators which show the availability of each match. The remaining tickets are available at a range of prices starting at £15 for children and £50 for adults.

England Rugby 2015 CEO, Debbie Jevans, said: “Following the great response to the general sale, with sales of over 950,000 Rugby World Cup 2015 tickets, we were keen to ensure that fans who were unsuccessful in the ballot had access to a priority sales window and are thrilled to see sales of over 150,000 tickets in just four days.

“The interest and demand across the country at all 13 match venues has been fantastic and, as we head towards 2015, we urge fans not to miss out and be part of what is shaping up to be a fantastic tournament.”

Tickets are still available via the official travel (domestic and international) and hospitality programmes with official supporter tour package sales currently on track to break the record levels achieved for France 2007, underscoring the attraction of the event around the world. More details on these programmes can be found at www.rugbyworldcup.com.

A limited number of tickets may come on sale for price categories at matches currently unavailable due to hand backs from the Rugby World Cup Limited commercial programme.

The only official resale service for fans to sell any unwanted tickets to other fans at face value will launch in Spring 2015 through the Rugby World Cup 2015 ticketing website. Fans are reminded to ‘Buy Official’ to avoid the risk of disappointment via unauthorised sources – more detail available here: www.rugbyworldcup.com/buyofficial
