Jimmy in the jungle!

17 November 2014

The popular reality series ‘I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here’ is back and a familiar face is amongst the stars in the jungle.

Jimmy Bullard, who played three games for the Dons at the start of the 2012 season, is one of 10 celebrities taking part in the show, which started on Sunday night on ITV1.

The 36-year-old, who was forced to retire from the game during his time at stadiummk due to a knee injury, is well-known for his funny antics both on and off the pitch and one person who is excited to see him in action is his former manager, Dons boss Karl Robinson.

He told the media: “When I found out, I couldn’t believe it, it’s going to be great TV. I’m not one for reality television, but I will 100 percent be watching this.

“Everybody who knows him would agree that Jimmy in the jungle is a scary thought. He can’t sit still for more than a minute, I don’t know how he’s going to do it!

“Thankfully it won’t be live and, I tell you, the lions, tigers and bears should be scared!”

Robinson continued: “I was with him in the summer, we spent a bit of time together and I speak to him quite regularly. I’ve got a soft spot for him.

“It’s great to think back and remember that he played for us. It will give the Football Club a little bit of exposure, as well.”
