Defender Harry Hickford has joined Vanarama Conference South side Boreham Wood on a one-month youth loan.
The 18-year-old moves to Meadow Park up until and including the 20th December and will go straight into the squad for the Wood’s league fixture against Gosport Borough on Saturday.
Hickford could make a further four appearances during his time in Hertfordshire, including league clashes with Weston Super Mare and Hayes & Yeading United as well an FA Trophy tie against Concord Rangers. The centre-back’s loan will end with a trip to Eastbourne Borough.
This will be Hickford’s second loan spell away from stadiummk, having spent time with Chelmsford City, also of the Conference South, during the 2013/14 season and Cambridge City earlier in this campaign.
