Charlie Burns and Gedeon Okito helped Truro City defeat Dunstable Town on Saturday, with the latter playing a part in the first goal.
Both Okito and Burns played 90 minutes in the hard-fought victory, which saw the Cornwall outfit climb to sixth in the Southern League Premier Division table.
Meanwhile, striker Tom Hitchcock returned to the starting line-up for Fleetwood Town on the weekend after being forced to start on the bench the previous Saturday due to a slight illness.
The 21-year-old played 59 minutes in the Sky Bet League 1 clash before being withdrawn for Antoni Sarcevic with the scores tied at 0-0. The Lancashire side would go on to lose the contest to a Romaine Sawyers goal – a defeat which leaves them 10th in the table.
And finally, defender Harry Hickford will have to wait to make his Boreham Wood debut after he was an unused substitute in their 1-1 draw with Gosport Borough.
Hickford, who joined the Wood on a one-month loan on Friday, could feature this evening when Ian Allinson’s side take on Weston-Super-Mare at Meadow Park.
