Brendan Galloway has joined up with England Under-19s ahead of their European Championship Elite Round qualifiers.
Galloway, who has made the step up from the Under-18s after impressing for Neil Dewsnip’s side, met with his team-mates at St. George’s Park on Sunday ahead of their first fixture against Montenegro at Bescot Stadium this coming weekend.
After that opening clash, the Young Lions will face Scotland on Monday 26th May before facing Ukraine on Thursday 29th, with both of those games taking place at Burton Albion’s Pirelli Stadium.
The UEFA European Under-19 Championship consists of three distinct stages: the qualifying round, the elite round and the final tournament.
In the elite round, played in the spring, the 27 qualifiers from the qualifying round join the top seed, given a bye, in seven mini-tournament groups of four. The group winners then join the hosts in the final tournament which takes place in Hungary this July.
