Dons set for local double-header

7 May 2014

MK Dons will face local sides Aylesbury FC and Stony Stratford Town on Saturday 19th July in preparation for the 2014/15 season.

Karl Robinson’s side will split in half for the two away friendlies, with the first side travelling to Aylesbury at 1pm. The Moles, who finished in 16th place in The Calor League Division One Central last season, play their games on Haywood Way and provided a stern test for a Dons XI in the Berks and Bucks Senior Cup in the 2012/13 season (pictured above).

Later, at 5pm, the second group will visit Ostlers Lane to face a Stony Stratford outfit which ended their 2013/14 campaign in 18th place in the Spartan South Midlands Division One League.

Ticket details for both games will be announced on in due course.

The games will form the early part of the Dons’ pre-season on home soil and are the second two confirmed following the announcement that soon-to-be Premier League outfit Leicester City will visit stadiummk in August.

Keep your eye on for further friendly announcements both home and away.
