Dons book Brackley friendly

MK Dons will travel to Brackley Town on Saturday 2nd August for a pre-season friendly.

.mkstadiumKarl Robinson’s side will face the Skrill Conference North side Brackley Town at their St. James’ Park home, just three days before they entertain soon-to-be Premier League outfit Leicester City at

The Saints were pre-season opponents in July last year for the Dons, who ran-out  2-1 winners that evening thanks to penalties from Izale McLeod and young Giorgio Rasulo.

Jon Brady’s side reached the Second Round of The FA Cup with Budweiser in 2013/14, defeating the Dons’ Sky Bet League 1 rivals Gillingham along the way. However, the Northamptonshire outfit failed to translate their cup form into the League, finishing in 7th-place and outside the Skrill South play-off places.

Brackley Town (A) – Saturday 2nd August, 3pm
Leicester City (H) – Monday 4th August, 7.45pm
