MK Dons supporters have voted Samir Carruthers’ solo effort against Oldham Athletic as February’s Goal of the Month.

The midfielder, who has since returned to parent club Aston Villa to receive treatment on a knee injury, saw off competition from Izale McLeod and George Baldock to win the competition with 70.3% of the votes.
Baldock, however, could be in line to win March’s Goal of the Month following his stunning stoppage-time finish against Swindon Town on Saturday.
