Leighton Football Forum postponed

31 March 2014

The Fans Forum at Leighton Town Football Club, originally set for Thursday 10th April, has been postponed.

MK Dons were set to host their second Football Forum at the home of the Leighton Town next week but due to the Reds’ re-arranged fixture with Aylesbury FC now taking place on the same night, the event has been postponed.

A new date, which is likely to be next season, will be announced in due course.

The event was due to be part of the build-up to the Leighton-Linslade Big Day, which takes place at stadiummk on Easter Monday when the Dons face Brentford.

The Leighton-Linslade Big Day provides residents and businesses from Leighton Buzzard and Linslade with the opportunity to take advantage of special ticket deals.

Anyone with an LU7 postcode to purchase discounted tickets at the special price of £10 for an adult ticket and £3 for under-18s. Organised groups of 20 or more can purchase tickets at just £7 adults and £1 under-18s. A special subsidized coach has been organised to run direct to stadiummk from The Black Horse Pub with a return fare of just £5.

The match will also see local entertainers perform at stadiummk with eight pages of the match programme dedicated to promoting Leighton Buzzard and Linslade along with a charity collection for a local charity.
