Popular winger Dean Bowditch could be in line for a return to the Dons’ squad on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Dons boss confirmed that Dele Alli and Ben Reeves are in contention for the showdown with Swindon Town after returning from international duty with England and Northern Ireland respectively.
“He’s arguably the best left winger in the league on his day and to be without these type of players on a regular basis is increasingly difficult.”
“Bowds is a big player for us. He was leading goalscorer and leading assist holder for the past two seasons – the importance of him in our squad is massive.
“Me and the medical department are in discussion, but I’m hopeful that he’ll be able to travel,” Robinson told MK Dons Player. “If not, he’s definitely going to be available next week.
The 27-year-old’s boss Karl Robinson is hopeful of having him available again after a groin injury, which has kept him out since the start of February.
