Midfielder Dele Alli made his debut for England U18s in a friendly against Croatia at St. George’s Park on Monday afternoon.
The classy youngster started and played 87 minutes but was unable to stop the Young Lions going down 2-1 in the first of two fixtures against the Croatians this week.
Alli, who now has 10 caps to his name at a variety of England youth levels, will also be hoping for feature in Wednesday’s game, which kicks off at 2pm.
Following that match, the 17-year-old will then return to
stadiummk and link up with his Dons team-mates ahead of Saturday’s trip to Swindon Town.
