The MK Dons players returned to work on Monday as they began their pre-season training schedule.
Karl Robinson’s squad enjoyed a team-bonding trip to Woburn Forest Center Parcs last Friday but today saw the official start of their gruelling pre-season programme.
The players split-up into different groups to undergo heart screenings and ‘range-of-motion’ exercises, under the guise of Head of Sport Science Damien Doyle, Head of Sports Medicine Simon Crampton and the Dons’ medical team.
On Tuesday, the team will begin work outside at their Woughton on the Green training ground. The side will then visit Stowe on Wednesday and Thursday for further sessions before travelling out to Ireland for their pre-season camp on Friday.
