“My dream just came true so I’m very happy,” she said after the game.
“To get on the pitch was incredible, especially in my hometown. The reception was amazing so I’m feeling very pleased.
“I was just happy to get out on the pitch and it’s a great stadium.
I hope it’s the first of many senior medals.”
She added: “At my age any playing time I get is incredible.
“I wouldn’t be human if I wasn’t disappointed not to start but the main thing today was the team.
“I was here last year for the Youth Cup final but that didn’t end too well for me because I got injured.”
