Dons returning to Dublin

MK Dons will be returning to the Republic of Ireland for a fourth consecutive year this pre-season.

The team will embark on a seven-day fitness camp in Dublin where they will be put through their paces by Head of Sport Science, Fitness and Conditioning Damien Doyle. Each day will include three sessions designed to improve their stamina, with work on the beach, football-based sessions on the pitch and further strength and conditioning work in the gym. 

After receiving clearance, the Dons can also announce they will play three pre-season matches, the first of which against St. James’ Gate on Monday 14th July (7.45pm). Robinson’s men will then do battle with Irish Premier Division side Drogheda United on Tuesday 15th (7.45pm) before ending their tour with another evening clash on Wednesday 16th – opponent to be confirmed shortly.
