Connor called up by Scotland

Connor Furlong has been named in the Scotland Under-16s squad ahead of next week's UEFA Development Tournament in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The young midfielder will link up with his national team this Saturday before flying out to the team hotel ahead of Scotland’s first match against the hosts next Tuesday.

Scot Gemmill’s side then play Azerbaijan on Wednesday, with their final game taking place on Thursday against Montenegro.

Furlong, who was recently offered an apprenticeship with MK Dons, has yet to make an appearance for Scotland but has been involved in training camps over the past two years.
