MK Dons are pleased to announce W H Barley (Transport & Storage) Limited as the latest local organisation to sign up for an executive box at stadiummk this season.
W H Barley first commenced trading in 1970 and was founded by Peter Barber, the company’s Chairman. Born from the family business of distribution within the retail & wholesale sector, the business grew from a need to utilise the existing delivery fleet more efficiently and the provision of a full load and groupage service to the local business community in Milton Keynes and nationally.
Mr Barber said: “Our presence in Milton Keynes is important and we are pleased to be able to give our support and develop alongside the MK Dons.”
Operating a fleet of 42 vehicles, which range from 3.5 tonne to 44 tonne articulated vehicles, W H Barley has adapted to the needs of its customers and invested wisely in a modern fleet, premises and technology, to compete in an ever-changing logistics industry. They provide single pallets, full loads and dedicated vehicles with 100’000 sq. warehousing.
The company is still currently a family run business with a number of members appointed to the senior management sector of the business, who deal with the logistics operation every day.
