Manager Karl Robinson has called upon supporters to give Dean Lewington the thanks he deserves at his Testimonial on Sunday.
stadiummk will play host to the left-back’s testimonial this weekend when Karl Robinson’s MK Dons side go head-to-head with Championship outfit and former European Cup winners Nottingham Forest. Kick-off is at 3pm.
The day will also provide the players, staff and supporters with a chance to pay tribute to the much-loved full-back, who has amassed over 500 appearances for the Club over the past 10-years.
“I hope the fans get themselves to stadiummk for Dean Lewington’s Testimonial on Sunday,” Robinson said. “It’s Dean’s day and he deserves it. He deserves for people to turn out and show the same respect for him as he’s shown for this Football Club over the last 10 years.
“He’s a tremendous captain and I’m very fortunate to have him. A captain stands for bravery, it stands for attitude and it’s for the person that the fans look up to and Dean has all of these components in abundance.”
