Four awards at the End of the Season Dinner, 11 goals and a number of assists in a memorable first campaign as a Don but Ben Reeves says there’s more to come from him.

He said: “I’ve been impressed with the signings the gaffer’s brought in - they will only add to the squad. The more competition we have, the higher the standards we'll hit.

He added: “I missed two or three months at the end of last season through injury but I feel quite fit now, and that’s thanks to Simon (Crampton), Adam (Ross) and Damo (Doyle).”

“I believe I can be sharper and quicker which comes with pre-season, so hopefully it will come naturally.”

“This is my first pre-season for two years so I’m going to be fit from day one,” he told MK Dons Player. “I’m looking forward to hopefully hitting the ground running.

The 22-year-old, who signed a new two-year deal on Thursday, believes the benefits of a full pre-season will enhance his game in 2014/15.
