Ref Watch: Shrewsbury Town

9 January 2014

Michael Bull will take charge of MK Dons’ Sky Bet League 1 clash with Shrewsbury Town this weekend.

The Essex FA official has been refereeing in the Blue Square Premier since 2007 but only made the step up to the Football League this season. Bull, therefore, has never taken charge of a Dons match before.

So far in 2013/14, Bull has shown 38 yellow cards in 11 matches. Bull has only been forced to send off one player this campaign; Burton Albion’s Ian Sharps in a 2-0 defeat to Oxford United back in September.

Bull’s last appointment was before Christmas, when he took charge of Plymouth Argyle’s 2-1 victory over Bury at Home Park and that afternoon Bull booked four players.

The full list of officials for Saturday is as follows:
Referee: Michael Bull (Essex)
Assistant Referees: Geoff Law (Leicestershire) and Stephen Rubery (Essex)
Fourth Official: Gavin Muge (Bedfordshire)
