Seventh-minute applause for Sir Tom

MK Dons and Preston North End are kindly asking fans of both clubs to come together in memory of Sir Tom Finney, who sadly passed away on Friday at the age of 91.


Sir Tom enjoyed a magnificent 20-year career with Preston which included 569 first-class matches. Their favourite son joined North End as an amateur in 1937 and was twice named ‘Footballer of the Year’.

The Club were, of course, privileged to be a part of Sir Tom’s 90th birthday celebrations at Deepdale two seasons ago.
