Ref Watch: Oldham Athletic

Nigel Miller will take charge of MK Dons’ Sky Bet League 1 clash with Oldham Athletic tomorrow evening.

.mkstadiumMiller has refereed the men from MK1 on six occasions since making his Football League debut back in August 2003. His most recent Dons appointment came last season when he oversaw the side’s Cup with Budweiser First Round replay victory over Cambridge City at

Miller has shown 16 yellow and two red cards in games involving the Dons with Drissa Diallo and Jude Stirling the two players sent off by Miller, the former for an apparent elbow on Stewart Drummond in a 2-1 defeat to Shrewsbury Town in 2007.

This season, the Country Durham FA official has taken charge of just 10 games and shown 21 yellow cards. Miller, whose last appointment saw him oversee Wigan Athletic’s 2-0 win over Barnsley, has yet to produce a red card this season.
