Preview: Bradford City

21 February 2014

MK Dons will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to four games when they take on Bradford City at Valley Parade on Saturday (k.o. 3pm).

Forward Sanmi Odelusi could make his MK Dons debut after joining on a one-month youth loan on Friday.

Team news

“It’s a special place, a footballer’s place. The atmosphere is intense and it’s always a good place to go and play, so we’re looking forward to it. We’ve got a game plan and we feel can go there and put a performance on, despite being short on numbers.”

“We know the enormity of the challenge – we’re going there to win the game, as we always do, but we know it’s going to be difficult.

Robinson told MK Dons Player: “The manager (Phil Parkinson) has done an unbelievable job in the last 18 months, to climb into this league and perform well in the cup competitions.

Bradford, who sit two places below the Dons in 11th, won their first game in 14 fixtures on Tuesday night, overcoming Port Vale late on in front of their home fans.

Karl Robinson’s men moved up to 9th in Sky Bet League 1 with the midweek draw against promotion chasers Preston North End, which backed up the wins over Walsall and Oldham Athletic.
Dean Bowditch (groin), Darren Potter (Achilles) and Tom Flanagan (Knee), however, are out through their respective injuries.

The Club are still awaiting news on Samir Carruthers’ scan while right-back Lee Hodson is being monitored by the MK Dons medical staff.

Bradford have no new concerns, but Matthew Bates and Raffaele De Vita (both hip) and Matt Taylor and James Meredith (both foot) remain out.
