The Dons’ FA Cup second-round replay against Chesterfield will take place on Friday 2nd January at stadiummk, kick-off 7.45pm.
Karl Robinson’s side lost 1-0 to the Spireites in the initial tie but, following an FA Cup sub-committee hearing at Wembley Stadium on Monday, the FA have ordered the tie to be replayed.
Chesterfield had admitted a breach of FA Cup Rule 15(i) after fielding an ineligible player, namely Georg Margreitter.
As a result, the two sides will go head-to-head once again for a place in the third round in the new year – a date agreed by all parties. The tie will be played to the finish, with no further replay.

Should the Dons overcome their Derbyshire opponents, they will face either Scunthorpe United or Worcester City in the third round.
